MPS PRTE - Portable Reference Test Electrode

The portable reference electrode (MPS.PRE) is a double junction Ag/AgCI reference electrode to monitor potentials of various metals for corrosion assessment.
This guide contains the basic information for correct use and maintenance for your new portable reference electrode.

The Marine Protection Systems PRE enables users to check protection levels of their vessel and to identify faults in the cathodic protection systems.

The MPS silver/silver chloride test electrode is used to measure the electro-chemical potential of your vessel and is used as a reference point for voltage measurements in units of milivolts (mV).

When combined with a quality multimeter, it measures the voltage potential difference between the reference electrode and the metal or cathodic bonding system under test. The voltage measurements should be recorded in the enclosed data results table in the included operators manual.

Quickly and accurately check for signs of galvanic corrosion.

12m of lead provided for ease of use and new wetting vial, prolonging the sensor life.
